Under the name Fox Terrier or Foxy include two breeds: Smooth Fox Terrier and Wire Fox Terrier. These two breeds are very similar, the biggest difference is their fur.
General information
The breed was primarily used for hunting foxes (engl. fox). The term Fox Terrier up until the 19th century referred to a group of dogs that were bred for hunting. Other types

Toy Fox Terrier was bred from the small dog Smooth Fox Terrier and they are much smaller dogs today.
