The Persian cat is very old, long-haired breeds of domestic cats. From the early 20th century Persian cat is the most popular thoroughbred cat, so it is most used in cat shows.
Origin

Characteristics

Modern Persian cat differs from the early copies, mostly in the shape of the head. However some growers still grow the traditional type of Persian cats.
